With the holiday season upon us, United Way of Sarnia-Lambton and Drewlo Holdings have teamed up for their inaugural Stairclimb for the Holidays!
Teams and individuals are asked to put their stair climb endurance to the test, with a climb that will see participants walk up and down a maximum of 38 flights of stairs at the Drewlo Holdings Marina Park Place Apartments on Sandy Lane.
Stairclimb for the Holidays will take place on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 3pm- 5pm beginning at 1285 Sandy Lane and ending next door at 1295 Sandy Lane.
“Climbers have the option of climbing one or two buildings, and if they are feeling up to it, they can even climb twice,” said Dave Brown, Executive Director of United Way of Sarnia-Lambton “This is not only a physical challenge; it is also our goal is to raise funds for the campaign and our community. We are encouraging participants to raise $50 as a climb entrance fee.“
“We are thrilled to partner with the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton for their first stair climb. It’s an honour to contribute to the communities that we serve,” Allan Drewlo, VP of Drewlo Holdings.
