These nature trails wind along a provincially significant marsh and include several opportunities to get close to the many inhabitants of this wetland, and take you up to ground providing an excellent vista of the Wawanosh Wetland.
Along this 1.5 km section of the Bluewater Trails system you can view native trees, wetlands, grass prairies and a variety of wildlife. A pedestrian bridge connects to the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area, providing hikers an excellent extended trail experience. Meet at Modeland Road entrance near Berger.
Dress appropriately; boots are recommended. Due to current weather conditions there may be lots of mud or standing water.
May go for lunch out afterwards; might want to also bring a change of clean footwear.
