EVENT DETAILS KEY INFORMATION
Event Description Participants will be placed in foursomes of varying golfing abilities.  Two carts will be provided for each team. Each team will play 9-holes of golf in a best-ball format (each golfer takes their shot from the best position of their team).
A barbecue and social time will  follow in the clubhouse or on the patio.

Skill Level All levels welcome - no previous golf experience required.  After registration closes we will consult participants about skill level/experience to build balanced teams.
Equipment Sharing After registration closes we will ask participants if they have equipment they can bring for a non-golfer to use.


Duration Participants will be given tee times once teams are created.  The first team will tee off at 1 p.m.  All golfers should arrive at the golf club 15- 30 minutes prior to their tee time.  It will take approximately two hours to play nine holes of golf.  
The clubhouse and patio with bar are available until all teams have completed golfing.
Barbecue and prizes will be after golfers have finished.
Costs The fee of $55 includes 9-holes of golf with a shared cart, and a meal with your choice of a cheeseburger, hot dog or sausage on a bun, along with French fries. The fee is payable directly to the Black Creek Golf Course on the day of the event, prior to play.  Drinks can be purchased in the clubhouse at an additional cost. 
Those who are not golfing that day can purchase the meal for $16. Please notify Lisa Valade by August 12 if you or your guest are planning attending the barbecue only. 
Required Items to Bring Golf clubs, balls and a tees (see note above about possibly bringing extra clubs to share), funds for payment and beverages.
Recommended to Bring Sunscreen, hat, bug spray, rain apparel, cell phone (in case of a weather consideration)
Current Conditions Participants should be prepared for:
weather changes including rain.  Should the golf course cancel due to excessive rain/lightning, you will be notified by an LOC member by phone or email. Please check before leaving home that afternoon.
