IMPORTANT: All who wish to participate in this event must pre-register by Sunday September 22. If you find you are unable to attend, kindly cancel your registration.

If you are a non-member wishing to participate, you must first join the Lambton Outdoor Club, which includes completing the member waiver. A one month free trial membership is available for first time participants. Having enjoyed an outing or two, we hope you’ll join our wonderful club following your free trial membership. The annual membership fee is $25.

Event Description

Year end paddle, camping at Rondeau Park.

This paddle will be participant driven.
We will split into different paddling groups depending on peoples interests & weather conditions.

Tentative Schedule

Friday
- Arrive at park and set up camp
- Evening Paddle in Rondeau Bay

Saturday
- Long paddle in Rondeau Bay/Lake Erie
(15-20 KM)
- Skills Practice
- Evening Social Campfire

Sunday
- Shorter paddle (5-10 KM)
- Skills Practice

Level
All Levels

Camping
We will try and book sites together
So far we have two sites booked and are only allowed 3 tents per site. (Site#'s: 175 + 176)
Please contact event leader to get on list to share one of these sites.

Meals
To be arranged per participant.
We will try our best to share resources such as stoves, etc.
We will plan on Breakfast & Dinner at the campsite.
Please pack a bagged lunch for while out paddling.
 
Mandatory Transport Canada safety equipment.
- PFD or life jacket
- Buoyant heaving line (15 meters in length)
- Paddle
- Bailer or hand pump
- Sound signaling device (whistle)
