About this event

Event Description
Join Anna and Bonnie for a group camping at Lobies Park in Walkerton! Situated right on the Saugeen River, this campground is a perfect launch point for a scenic river run.  Enjoy easy water access, and spacious sites.  There are fully serviced pull through sites for trailer and lots of tent camping.

The washroom and shower facilities are onsite.  The reviews posted are that they are clean and have descent water pressure.

Plus, since it's right in Walkerton, you'll have plenty of great food options, cafes, and supplies just a short walk or drive away.  Everyone is responsible for their own meals, so feel free to bring your camp stove or check out the local eats.

All launch points are designated access points for easy in and out of your kayak.  Rest stops are planned along the routes.

Paddle by day, relax by the fire at night.
