Registration is required
IMPORTANT: All who wish to participate in this event must pre-register by midnight the night before the event. If you find you are unable to attend, kindly cancel your registration.

If you are a non-member wishing to participate, you must first join the Lambton Outdoor Club, which includes completing the member waiver. A one month free trial membership is available for first time participants. Having enjoyed an outing or two, we hope you’ll join our wonderful club following your free trial membership. The annual membership fee is $25.

About this event

Event Description
We will paddle from Talfourd Creek down the St Clair River and around Stag Island back to the start.
The paddle downstream is with current so makes for an easy paddle.
Back upstream is against the current so can be a bit of a challenge for some.

Other Important info
This paddle is in current of the St Clair River and there may be power boat & freighter traffic.

Please check if you have any questions about gear, skills, boat or any other items before signing up for the paddle.

Shell Dock
Just north of Guthrie Park
Please arrive between 8:30-8:45 for stageing and pre-launch discussion. Boats on the water at 9 AM

Mandatory Transport Canada safety equipment.
- PFD or life jacket
- Buoyant heaving line (15 meters in length)
- Paddle
- Bailer or hand pump
- Sound signaling device (whistle)

- Spare clothes, towel and emergency warming blanket in a dry bag in your kayak.
