Cycling
Cycling with the LOC is a wonderful way to see the countryside, get some exercise and meet people who share your interest.
Rides are categorized loosely into three groups:
Hares
(~ 22-26+ km/hr for 35-75+ km )
Easy Riders
(~ 18-22 km/hr for 25-35+ km)
Free Wheelers
(~ 15-18 km/hr for 20-25 km)
Ride lengths vary from an hour to a half or full day, to longer out-of-town trips.
We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the cycling guidelines, and check in with a ride leader to be sure you will have an experience that suits your ability; then come out and join us for a good ride.
