IMPORTANT: All participants MUST pre-register for event, by midnight the night before; drop-ins/guests are not permitted unless registered.

Be aware of the Public Health guidance relative to your own vaccination status and make your personal choices accordingly. For those who are more at risk of the virus, be aware that some participants at LOC events may not be fully vaccinated.

Be respectful of other member’s Covid-19 management decisions and protective steps. If they are trying to maintain 2m distance, please help them achieve that.

Event Description
St. Mary's - Thames Valley Trail section
Trail Section 15 Highway #7 to St. Marys
This 110 km trail links the Elgin Trail which starts in Port Stanley on Lake Erie with the Avon Trail in St. Mary’s. It follows the Thames River for most of its route and provides a wonderful opportunity to pass through the Carolinian Zone. This area is unique in Canada and has trees, flowers and animals found only in Southwestern Ontario.

Carpooling from the 402 Esso Truck Stop at Reeces's Corners.

Expected Conditions:  some steep descents - possibly slippery rocky areas
but the majority is really pleasant walking through wooded river bank areas.
