IMPORTANT: All who wish to participate in this event must pre-register before the event. If you find you are unable to attend, kindly cancel your registration.

If you are a non-member wishing to participate, you must first join the Lambton Outdoor Club, which includes completing the member waiver. A one month free trial membership is available for first time participants. Having enjoyed an outing or two, we hope you’ll join our wonderful club following your free trial membership. The annual membership fee is $25.

While participating, be respectful of other members' health management decisions and protective steps, and please stay home if you are feeling unwell.

Event Description Bruce Trail - Peninsula Sections - with Lori & co-leader TBA

The Bruce Trail Conservancy conserves and cares for land within the Niagara Escarpment UNESCO World Biosphere to protect its ecosystems for the benefit of all and make it available to explore by foot along the magnificent Bruce Trail.


 Friday, Sept., 15 – Sept. 17,2023

Note: out-of-town, multi day trips are available for members only.

Important: Participants in Bruce Trail hikes are expected to register for a couple pre-conditioning hikes.

Money is Required For:

Hotel rooms and meals,

parking - several parking lots have charges 

Also donations of $5 per day plus donations towards any parking lot fees are suggested to help defray the costs of those drivers shuttling hikers to and from Trail heads. 

A volunteer 'accountant' will collect and distribute such donations.

masks- especially if car pooling masks are suggested

hills to climb
uneven ground

Accommodation

staying at the
Red Bay Lodge
right on the shore of Red Bay.
There are 1 and 2 bedroom cabins as well as lodge rooms. 
A hot hearty breakfast is included with all reservations. 
A dining room is onsite and we can make dinner arrangements closer to the hike date.  We will not need to leave the resort at the end of the hike .

Discounted rates range from $199 for the lodge room to $349 for the 2 bedroom cabin which can sleep 5.  People may want to share rooms for a better rate.
