Bickford Oak Woods Conservation Reserve (BOW CR) is the largest protected Carolinian clay plain forest in Canada. Located in the County of Lambton, this 314 hectare property is predominantly forested with scattered wetland pockets that provide habitat for a diversity of Carolinian species and communities including the provincially rare pin oak, Shumard oak, buttonbush thicket, cerulean warbler, tufted titmouse, and Carolina wren.
