IMPORTANT: Pre-registration is required for members (and guests) by midnight the night before event.

Be aware of the Public Health guidance relative to your own vaccination status and make your personal choices accordingly. For those who are more at risk of the virus, be aware that some participants at LOC events may not be fully vaccinated.

Be respectful of other member’s COVID-19 management decisions and protective steps. If they are trying to maintain 2m distance, please help them achieve that.

EVENT DETAILS KEY INFORMATION
Event Description This is a ride, mostly in the countryside east of Sarnia. Since this is the beginning of the season, we will keep speed and distance on the low end of the range as we get our legs back. We will be stopping for water and rest as needed. (Participants are welcome to contribute ideas for rides.) 
Meeting Place
Location: Mike Weir Park  
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to departure so we can be in time for a prompt 1:00PM departure.
 
Level Hares (Fast Level)
Distance ~ 35 Km
Speed Cruising 22-26 Km/hr. We will try to accommodate for all participants and weather for an enjoyable ride.
Duration ~ 2 hours
Costs Money is Required For:
if we stop for coffee
Required Items to Bring bicycle helmet, water bottles
Recommended to Bring tire pump or CO2 cartridge, spare tube, bike mirror, personal ID, cell phone, snacks, sunscreen
Current Conditions Participants Should Be Prepared For:
wind and weather changes
Will be cancelled for bad weather or wind over 25 km/hr. Check the website on the morning of the ride (9:00 AM) to confirm the status of the ride as Spring weather can be changing fast.
