Celebrate Earth Day at the Library!
Tuesday April 22nd 6pm – 8:15pm
Who can attend: everyone!
Children, youth and adults are invited to celebrate 2025 Earth Day by having fun and meeting terrific people who will share their knowledge and passion for protecting the Earth and offering the chance to learn new things, share eco-friendly ways to live well, reduce waste and save on energy bills.
Lots going on from 6pm – 7pm: displays, hands-on activities, snacks.
Participating organizations and businesses will include Great Lakes Refill Co., nuSarnia, Climate Action Sarnia-Lambton, Friends of the St. Clair River, Bird Friendly Sarnia, Golden Alexanders Native Plant Nurseries, Backyard Gardener, Lambton Wildlife Inc. and Lambton County Library.
There will be activities for children and some tasty snacks too.
The above will be followed by:
“Heat Pumps, EV’s and more -
what’s in it for YOU!”
Presentation in the Library Theatre at 7pm
Join engineers John Ward and Ed Brost who will explain the benefits and savings from installing a heat pump in your home or business and owning an electric vehicle (EV).
There will be opportunities for the audience to ask questions.
