Club member Mary Lou Ross remembers:
Les was dedicated to Camp Attawandron. He was a volunteer there and helped with many programs for scouting. I and others helped him with the orchid count there. Unlike Les, I had no idea of all the types of orchids there, some rare. We also counted the five-lined Skink population.
Les had lots of knowledge and liked sharing it.
It’s hard to believe we won’t see our friend Les Moir walking the Brights Grove lakeside everyday, rain or shine.
Les, you will be missed by many.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 12, 1 - 4 p.m. at Sarnia Golf and Curling Club.
