IMPORTANT: All who wish to participate in this event must pre-register by 11:59 pm the day prior to the event. If you find you are unable to attend, kindly cancel your registration.

If you are a non-member wishing to participate, you must first join the Lambton Outdoor Club, which includes completing the membership waiver. A one month free trial membership is available for first time participants. Having enjoyed an outing or two, we hope you’ll join our wonderful club following your free trial membership. The annual single membership fee is $25.

While participating, be respectful of other members' health management decisions and protective steps. Please stay home if you are feeling unwell.

Event Description

 Springwater Forest -Catfish Creek Conservation Area
A shady hike through the Springwater Forest which is a national rarity, a 150-hectare Carolinian Forest containing more endangered species than any other zone in Canada. The forest contains a diverse variety of interdependent animals and plants

.
The Catfish Creek Conservation Authority asks for a modest $3.00/hour to use the trail system in the Springwater Forest

 

 located outside Aylmer on Springwater Road south of hwy 4

We will be parking on Conservation Line

 

Event Start Time  Arrive 9:15 for 9:30 am sharp start.

We will be parking along Conservation Line which is off Springwater Road

Car pooling- leaving from Petrolia's VPP parking lot at 7:30

(Pls arrive 15 mins before hike for instructions and introductions.)
