Participate in annual general meeting in person at the Lochiel Kiwanis Centre or online via Zoom link.
Please note that there is a noon cutoff for registrations on Oct 22nd (the day of the AGM). Zoom link and instructions will be sent by email the afternoon of Oct 22nd to those who registered for online participation.
Please review, in advance, the minutes from last year's AGM, which can be found via the link below. Approval of these minutes will be one item on the agenda.
The purpose of the AGM is to share and get input on the operational and business aspects of the club. This will include a review of the last year's activities and finances, share plans for the next year, nominate and vote for the LOC Council Members etc.
The event will begin with our guest speaker, Mr. Richard (Dick) Felton, who will speak about "Healthy Ageing". Dick is well-known in the Sarnia community for his volunteering and his tremendous personal fitness accomplishments including running several international marathons after the age of 60, instructing and mentoring many classes on walking, running, strength training, etc.
The meeting portion of the event will follow the guest speaker and will last 60 - 90 minutes, depending on questions and discussion. Light refreshments will be for those attending in person.
