The Bluewater International Granfondo’s (BIG) Slow Roll is a large, free, and inclusive community 10km bike ride dedicated to contributing to the growth of bicycle culture in the Sarnia Lambton area. Founded by BIG and organized locally by volunteers, the goal is to further cycling not only as a health initiative, but also to help enhance Sarnia’s image as a cycling community.
The BIG Slow Roll is open to all regardless of age, experience, ability, or type of bike. With a slow pace and volunteer squad that keep riders safe and social, it is more than just a bike ride – it is a conduit for bringing people from all walks of life together and connecting our community.

Judy is leading this paddle to the Pinery for ice cream with lunch. This is a very interesting paddle and there is a small portage over the road and back. This is best with canoes, but kayaks can do it if they want.

Save the Date!
A beautiful fall experience of up to 5 days outside Port Syndney
Start: Mike Weir Park
Meet up: Brander Park, Port Lambton
Finish: Mike Weir Park
This ride will start at Mike Weir Park.
It is one of four rides that will converge at Brander Park just south of Port Lambton at about 10:30 am to relax, refresh, refuel, and visit before returning.
You will also have an opportunity to find ‘your happy pace‘ as part of the ride.
April is not too soon to get back on your bike! Join Sharon for a gentle re-introduction to cycling on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon, as weather dictates. Each week we will plan for a Wednesday ride and move it to Thursday if the weather is unfavourable. We‘ll start at Mike Weir Park at 1pm and cycle local routes, keeping it short and slow as we rediscover our cycling muscles.
